Researchers at ScamSniffer, a cybersecurity firm, have discovered that cybercriminals are using ‘wallet drainers’ to steal crypto assets through phishing scams on platforms like Google and X. These drainers were first discovered in Google search ad phishing and later found in X phishing ads. From March to December, Scam Sniffer monitored about 10,072 phishing websites using them.
